    hey. hey. if you were/are not allowed to express anger in your household. ily

    anger is human, anger is part of processing, anger exists on a spectrum from mild frustration/annoyance to full rage and all can be needed as a reaction sometimes, anger is not inherently abusive or harmful, expressing anger (especially if you have anger issues) does not make you shameful or scary, anger does not make your point inherently less valuable, anger is a feeling you should be allowed to express.

    anger is okay. and if your anger is hurting you, that’s okay too, and you deserve help managing it. this goes double for people who are often stereotyped as angry or scary (black & brown ppl, transfems, ppl with stigmatized disorders, butches and other masc queers, etc). anger is allowed.

    it’s funny how swifties never realize like she’s also talking about us when she discusses fame/the public eye. when she says she feels like she’s always being observed she could mean the paparazzi but her fans are also camping outside her nyc apartment whenever she’s in the city. when she says people try to run paternity tests on her songs she might be talking about tabloids but the fandom is also constantly discussing dates and outfits and locations to figure who each song could be about. when she says she doesn’t feel like a person she could mean the public at large seeing her as a character or a brand but her fans never really treat her like a human being either. anyways

    Listen, if you interrupt me with a new task while I’m midway through another, you aren’t allowed to be mad when I switch to the new task immediately. You clearly thought the new task was important enough to interrupt me with it!

    I am just a little pikmin! You’re the one with the whistle!!

    ‘You need to learn to prioritise’ no YOU do! You’re the one dishing out tasks!! All I need to do is take things back to the onion!

    Um.

    i don’t think “flex” is a strong enough word for whatever the last three minutes of my life was

    That was one of the most beautiful sequences I have ever seen.

    That’s because Marahute was animated by none other than Glen Keane, who storyboarded this magnificent sequence as well. He’s the legendary animator behind Ariel, Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and Tarzan. Glen is famous for his extraordinary dedication to bringing his characters to life. For the Rescuers Down Under, he thoroughly studied eagle anatomy, and here are a few of his notes.

    If you are driving and someone blinks their brights at you there’s a good chance it is a warning for something like, say, a deer playing chicken with cars and that you should probably slow to a crawl lest you get a fuzzy new hood ornament.

    Alternatively, you could flip off the person who tried to warn you, have to violently swerve to avoid that deer, and then wait for the person you flipped off to come pull you out of the ditch you ended up in because there isn’t even the fancy new iPhone SOS service where you’re at because it’s so far into the back country.

    I’ll let you all figure out what happened with the dude I tried to warn this weekend. :)

    If someone flashes their high beams at you in the USA it is almost universally understood as ‘there is shit ahead to watch out for’. That shit could be animals in the road, an accident, a speed trap/cop or some other hazard. Keep that in mind when you’re out and about!

    @chai-cow-ski

    @is-the-snake-video-cute looks like a coral snake (blunt nose) but double checking- is it ?

    That’s indeed a coral snake, good ID!!

    This thread is full of the luckiest people on the planet, I think. Also goes to show just how calm even venomous snakes are - coral snakes rarely bite unless you’re actively harassing them - and how important it is to make sure your ID as non-venomous is 1000% certain before picking up any wild snake.
